The Flower Raj Encyclopaedia.
A small encyclopaedia of people & places, as factual as possible.
The Flower Raj is a documentation & archive project that seeks to generate & preserve written, pictorial & oral histories of some seekers, travellers & escapers, who set out from the West, in the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s, to travel to India.
We also seek to record some Indian escapists, seekers & travellers who interacted with & influenced the Westerners, and in turn were influenced by them. Additionally – ‘Indian’ in this context includes different ethnic, cultural & spiritual groups who largely reside in India, an example being the Tibetan Buddhist diaspora.
In this Encyclopaedia (Wiki) section (just as in Wikipedia) we list people & places by giving them a single encyclopaedia page each.
The Flower Raj is a community project and you are encouraged to contribute, either directly by creating an account here and getting to work, or, by contacting the administrators with your contributions of text, images, audio or video.

Stub Pages
Currently we are making Stub Pages, for example:
A Stub Page is a page made for a person or place we consider important enough to solicit more information on; anyone searching who finds a stub page, can create an account with us, log in and edit the page; that's what a community wiki is all about.
You may also make new pages if you create an account.
How to Contribute
You can contribute by adding or modifying pages with new or updated information or by correcting errors.
